Nintendo’s latest Indie World Showcase delivered a packed slate of announcements for Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch, spotlighting a diverse lineup of independent titles set to launch throughout 2026. The presentation featured a mix of surprise releases available immediately and new projects scheduled for later this year.
Among the games launching later today on Nintendo Switch 2 are Rotwood, Blue Prince, and Minishoot’ Adventures, with the latter also available on Nintendo Switch. Rotwood, from Klei Entertainment, is a side-scrolling co-op action brawler that supports up to four players locally or online. Players battle corrupted creatures across forest arenas, focusing on mastering combat systems and tackling demanding boss encounters. The game arrives as a console exclusive on Switch 2.
Blue Prince, developed by Dogubomb and published by Raw Fury, transports players to the mysterious Mt. Holly manor, where rooms shift and reset each day. The puzzle-driven experience challenges players to navigate ever-changing layouts in pursuit of the elusive Room 46. The Switch 2 version incorporates Joy-Con 2 mouse controls for smoother navigation.
Minishoot’ Adventures blends classic adventure design with twin stick shooter mechanics, sending players across handcrafted environments filled with secrets and intense boss fights. It launches today on both Switch 2 and Switch.
Drinkbox Studios also unveiled Blighted, an action RPG set in a psychedelic Western landscape. Players take on the role of a lone survivor battling through hostile environments to reclaim lost memories and confront powerful foes. The game supports solo play or multiplayer and is scheduled to release on Switch 2 this fall.
Deadzone Rogue, a fast-paced roguelike shooter from Prophecy Games, arrives on Switch 2 on March 17, with pre-orders available now. The game places players aboard a hostile space station filled with procedurally generated layouts and biomechanical enemies. It supports online multiplayer and utilizes Joy-Con 2 mouse controls.
Denshattack, published by Fireshine Games, launches on Switch 2 on June 17, with a free demo available later today. The action platformer challenges players to traverse a dystopian Japan while performing tricks atop a speeding train. Mixtape, from Beethoven and Dinosaur and Annapurna Interactive, debuts May 7 on Switch 2, delivering a narrative adventure centered on three friends and a coming-of-age story underscored by licensed music.
My Little Puppy arrives digitally on Switch on May 29, with a physical edition planned for June. The narrative adventure follows a Welsh Corgi named Bong-gu on a heartfelt journey in the afterlife. The Switch version includes costume customization options. Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault is also slated for Switch 2 this year, continuing the blend of dungeon crawling and shop management gameplay.
Woodo, a cozy puzzle experience that tasks players with assembling wooden dioramas piece by piece, launches on Switch 2 and Switch this summer. Heave Ho 2 follows with local and online multiplayer for up to four players, introducing new themed worlds and cooperative challenges. The Midnight Walk, a dark fantasy adventure crafted with real-world clay and stop motion animation, arrives on Switch 2 on March 26.
The showcase also featured a montage of additional projects. Outbound launches April 23 on Switch 2 and Switch, offering cooperative camper van exploration with a free demo available today. Unrailed 2 Back on Track pulls into Switch platforms in May, with a demo already live on Switch. TOEM 2 is set for Switch this summer, while Ratatan arrives on Switch 2 on July 16. InKONBINI One Store Many Stories launches April 30 on both systems, and Grave Seasons is scheduled for Switch this summer.
