Warner Bros Games and NetherRealm Studios’ oft-rumored fighting game, Injustice 3, has apparently been confirmed by the series’ voice actors.

Voice actors Phil LaMarr and George Newbern, who play Green Lantern and Superman in the Injustice series, respectively, have apparently confirmed to fans that Injustice 3 is currently in development.

Twitter/X user DannySoul0 met LaMarr at Nostalgia Con in Houston and asked the actor to sign his Injustice 2 steelbook. He asked LaMarr what it was like working work the late Batman voice actor Kevin Conroy. The Green Lantern voice actor said he didn’t really work with him much, since voice lines are recorded individually by all actors. Upon signing the fan’s Injustice 2 steelbook and returning it, LaMarr said, “You know, they’re making another one. They’re doing Injustice 3.”

Similarly, Twitter/X user Brendan_Batman got the opportunity to meet George Newbern. He told the actor that he’s the definitive voice behind Superman. He also told Newbern how big a fan he was of the now canceled MultiVersus. In response to his comment on MultiVersus, the Superman voice actor revealed to the fan that he’s currently working on Injustice 3.

Back in May, 2025, known MultiVersus leaker multiversusie and data miner hinted that Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment and NetherRealm Studios had been working on Injustice 3. The insider took to Twitter/X to share a cryptic message regarding the unfortunate discontinuation of Player First Games’ free-to-play crossover fighting game, MultiVersus. They said, “Multiversus shutting down is an injustice, then doing it all again is another injustice leaving me without any leaks is yet again another injustice.” In their short follow-up tweet, they stated the number “3”, implying that Injustice 3 has been in the works. Though, their message suggested that they didn’t have much details on the game at that point in time.

During an AMA session earlier in November, 2022, , creative director and team lead at NetherRealm, Ed Boon, had stated at the time that the studio’s next project would be either of a new Mortal Kombat game and Injustice 3. It ended up being the former, so the latter is next in line.
