New screenshots and video from the supposed reboot of Jet Set Radio appear to have made their way online. The game was officially announced last year.

Sega revealed their plans last year during The Game Awards with a sizzle real that showed games like Jet Set Radio, Streets of Rage, Shinobi, Golden Axe, and Crazy Taxi. They also teased more revivals for their classic IPs.

Jet Set Radio was one of the games that showed in-development footage. This is the first time we have seen more from the game. These screenshots were shared by a user on Twitter while the gameplay video was uploaded to YouTube. It appears to be the same video that was showcased by Sega, but it is an extended version of the gameplay that reveals more of the world map and side activities.

Keep in mind that the footage is marked as in development so a lot of things that are shown here will be either incomplete or changed in the lead-up to the launch of the game. It could also be an early concept trailer before the look and gameplay of the game are finalized.

Details on these projects weren’t shared by Sega aside from the sizzle reel that confirmed their existence. There hasn’t been any official update on them since then, but they are all planned to launch in the coming years Another update may be planned for these games at The Game Awards later this year.

Jet Set Radio is an action game from 2000, developed by Smilebit and published by Sega for the Dreamcast console. In the game, players assume the role of a member of a youth gang known as the GGs. They navigate Tokyo on inline skates, spray graffiti, confront rival gangs, and evade the police.
