According to the official rating for Jurassic World Dominion Extended Cut, it will have a runtime of 154 minutes, or 2 hours and 34 minutes in total.
JW Dominion will also get a release on DVD and Blu-ray. The Blu-ray appears to offer close to one hour of bonus content while the DVD adds 20 minutes worth of bonus content. It is also possible that these numbers are estimated so don’t take them as guaranteed. We will know more once Universal shares details on the bonus feature for the home release.
On the other hand, JW Dominion director Colin Trevorrow had suggested that the extended cut will bring 14 minutes of new content. There was supposed to be a prologue to the movie showing us the Dinosaurs living their life in the world but that was reportedly cut from the final release. The extended cut may bring it back along with adding new scenes to improve the overall flow of the movie.
Jurassic World Dominion had a decent start at the box office and the movie is still running internationally as well as at the domestic box office. It is currently well-poised to clear $400 million at the domestic box office while it can inch closer to $1 billion worldwide. It wasn’t received well critically but that hasn’t hampered its box office result so far.
