SNK has released patch version 1.3.1 for Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, marking the arrival of the highly anticipated Street Fighter collaboration. At the center of this update is the addition of Ken Masters, the veteran fighter from Capcom’s Street Fighter series. With his classic moveset, including the Hadoken and Shoryuken, Ken arrives ready for battle in both Arcade and EOST modes, now able to chain special techniques and REV Arts into powerful combos.
This crossover event also introduces the iconic Suzaku Castle stage, allowing players to fight in a moonlit arena familiar to long-time fighting fans. Additional collaboration features include new sound effects, menu artwork, and a jukebox selection featuring tracks from the Street Fighter franchise. These enhancements aim to blend the energy of both series seamlessly and engagingly.
Beyond the crossover content, patch 1.3.1 also brings gameplay improvements across several modes. Smart Style now allows for feinting and braking mechanics, expanding tactical depth. Character Trials have been redesigned for easier navigation, and new advanced trials have been introduced. System-wide updates cover everything from CPU balancing in Survival Mode to improved interface clarity and fixes for training, clone, and EOST-specific bugs. A series of character balance adjustments has also been implemented to improve match variety and maintain overall gameplay integrity.
