Embracer Group has confirmed that Kingdom Come Deliverance II has surpassed five million copies sold within its first year on the market. The milestone was disclosed following the close of Q3 FY2025 26, which ended December 31, 2025. Given the game launched in February 2025, the figure reflects approximately ten months of sales performance.
The five million sales mark stands out as the most concrete data point in the company’s latest financial reporting and positions the title as a central pillar within Embracer’s PC and console segment. During Q3, Kingdom Come Deliverance II ranked as the number one back catalog title, outperforming established franchises such as Dead Island 2, Killing Floor 3, MX vs ATV Legends, and Shadow of the Tomb Raider. This is particularly notable given the relatively recent launch window compared to those longer-standing properties.
Financially, the PC and console segment reported back catalog sales of SEK 1,302 million in Q3, down 10 percent year over year, while new release sales rose 25 percent to SEK 228 million. Adjusted EBIT for the segment declined 22 percent to SEK 252 million. Despite these mixed results, management explicitly credited Kingdom Come Deliverance II as a key driver behind results exceeding internal expectations.
Three factors were identified as supporting the game’s Q3 performance. The third downloadable expansion, Mysteria Ecclesiae, was described as converting pent-up demand into renewed sales momentum. Influencer and marketing activity also contributed, with content creators cited as meaningful traffic drivers. Seasonal holiday promotions further amplified demand during the October to December window.
The report also emphasized the title’s awards recognition, including PC Gamer Game of the Year and four nominations at The Game Awards, as well as a nomination for Foreign Game of the Year at the inaugural Swedish Game Awards 2026. These accolades were presented as reinforcing the franchise’s premium positioning.
