Warhorse Studios and Deep Silver have released an enhanced version of Kingdom Come: Deliverance for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, making the upgrade available today as a free download for existing PS4 and Xbox One owners. The updated release arrives as part of the anniversary celebrations for the franchise, giving players a chance to revisit Henry’s journey with improved performance and visual upgrades.
The current generation version allows players to explore Bohemia at up to 60 FPS, delivering smoother combat encounters and more responsive movement while traversing the open world. Console players can also expect improved visual fidelity and graphical enhancements aimed at making the medieval setting feel more detailed and immersive.
The launch coincides with a major sales milestone for the sequel. Kingdom Come: Deliverance II has now surpassed 5 million copies sold within 12 months of release. Warhorse CEO Martin Frývaldský credited the development team, publishing partners, and the community for helping the sequel reach the figure, describing the achievement as a significant moment for the studio.

The updated version of Kingdom Come: Deliverance is now available to purchase digitally on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S storefronts. The game is also accessible to Game Pass subscribers with the new enhancements included. For those interested in a physical edition, a Royal Edition is scheduled to launch on May 15, 2026.
