The previously rumored PS5 version of Deep Silver and Warhorse Studios’ 2018 action role-playing, Kingdom Come: Deliverance, has seemingly been confirmed by the game’s PlayStation Store page.
Mention of a PS5 version of Kingdom Come: Deliverance was recently discovered on the PAL PlayStation Store regions (via Reddit users drumjolter01 and salromano), seemingly confirming its existence. According to the game’s store page, the current-gen port “now features graphical upgrades including 4K resolution, an improved frame rate, high-resolution textures, and much more.” The listing was subsequently updated to remove mention of the PS5 version, suggesting that it was done in error and that these details were meant to be added after an official announcement.
Alongside the now removed text mentioning a PS5 version, the PlayStation Store page for Kingdom Come: Deliverance reportedly updated the key art image to a slightly retouched and recolored version.
Last month, Reddit leaker bertik11 claimed that a remastered version of Kingdom Come: Deliverance is in development for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Based on what they heard from their sources, it is set for release sometime in February, 2025. They cautioned fans not to expect a whole lot from the updated release, because, as far as they’ve heard, it’s just going to be a basic port of the PC version. As such, it won’t bring anything groundbreaking or entirely new, and will mostly bring over PC graphical features to the current-gen console versions. This likely includes the 4k texture pack and HQ sounds DLC.
Regarding the release window, the leaker said that the current-gen version of Kingdom Come: Deliverance is unlikely to receive a delay, although February, 2026, isn’t necessarily set in stone. They mentioned being surprised that Warhorse Studios has yet to announce the remastered title. They added that they’ve known about the February release window for some time now.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance was released on February 13, 2018, for PS4, Xbox One, and PC, and on March 15, 2024, for Nintendo Switch.
