Kojima Productions Shares First Look at Physint with Concept Art and Cast Reveal

by Ali Haider

Kojima Productions has provided an early glimpse at its upcoming stealth action project Physint during the studio’s 10th anniversary event. Although details remain scarce, Hideo Kojima shared concept art and confirmed several members of the cast, giving fans the first tangible look at what has so far been a highly secretive title.

The concept art revealed during the presentation showed a character design reminiscent of Solid Snake, though their face was intentionally concealed. Kojima clarified that the protagonist’s final appearance has not been decided yet, noting that the project is still in its early conceptual stage and much development work remains ahead.

Alongside the art, Kojima unveiled part of the cast lineup. Actors Don Lee, Charlee Fraser, and Minami Hamabe are confirmed to be involved, with Hamabe also featured in an in-engine character model demonstration. Kojima emphasized that this preview was rendered in real time, underlining the studio’s commitment to realism and technical sophistication.

As part of the anniversary event, Sony Interactive Entertainment’s Studio head Herman Hulst appeared in a video message congratulating Kojima Productions on its milestone and the announcement of Physint. While his message was primarily celebratory, it further reinforced the close partnership between the studio and Sony.

Kojima Productions described Physint as being in the very early stages of development, with the working title deriving from the phrase “physical intelligence.” The game is confirmed to be a stealth action title and is being developed in collaboration with Sony Interactive Entertainment for release on the PlayStation platform.

Though much of the project remains under wraps, the unveiling of cast members and the first in-engine visuals signal a meaningful step forward. Fans eager for Kojima’s return to the stealth genre will likely need patience, but the event offered enough to stir both curiosity and anticipation for what is to come.
