Konami Digital Entertainment has announced that it will hold a special Metal Gear Production Hotline event during Tokyo Game Show 2025. The live stream, scheduled for Thursday, September 25, from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM, will be broadcast from Konami’s official booth at the exhibition. The stream link is set to be revealed closer to the event.

The presentation will feature several prominent figures behind the Metal Gear franchise. Among them are Noriaki Okamura, serving as Production Producer, Yuji Korekado as Creative Producer, Yu Sahara, director of the “FOX HUNT” project, and Jiro Oishi, Promotions Manager. Hosting duties will be handled by Haruka Mori, who will serve as MC.

The timing of the broadcast comes shortly after the highly anticipated release of Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater, which launched on August 28, 2025. The remake of the 2004 classic Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater has been praised for staying true to the original story and voice performances while modernizing visuals, audio, and gameplay mechanics. Available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, the game serves as a prequel to the entire series, recounting the origin story of Big Boss.

Fans are eager to learn what Konami may reveal during the hotline, as the company has recently shown renewed interest in revitalizing its legacy franchises. With veteran producers and directors participating in the TGS panel, the stream could offer a deeper look at the future of Metal Gear, including post-launch updates or new projects related to the brand.

Konami has promised to release streaming details in the coming weeks, giving longtime fans of the franchise another reason to keep their eyes on Tokyo Game Show 2025.
