Konami To Showcase Major Titles and New Project at Tokyo Game Show 2025

Tokyo Game Show 2025 is preparing for its return from September 25 to September 28, bringing with it a mix of new game announcements, returning fan favorites, and live stage events. Konami will be among the biggest exhibitors at the event, using its presence to spotlight both long-standing franchises and entirely new projects.

One of the most anticipated highlights is the dedicated stage event for Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater. This will be followed by the “Production Hotline” stream, where key developers are scheduled to provide the latest insights on the future of the series. Fans will also want to keep an eye on Friday’s program, when Konami has promised the reveal of a brand-new project, accompanied by a special guest.

Konami’s schedule does not end there. Silent Hill f will be featured in a talk session with developers, paired with a live gameplay commentary from popular streamer group 2BRO. Meanwhile, Suikoden will receive its own stage show covering new developments for the franchise, including details about the anime and the latest game. Another intriguing reveal is Project Zircon, described as a “Fantasy Ensemble Drama” featuring over one thousand characters, which will be presented on Sunday.

The broader Tokyo Game Show lineup will also include a diverse set of events outside Konami’s announcements. Thursday begins with a collaborative Yu-Gi-Oh! × eFootball special stage, alongside the Indie Games Contest Student Championship awards ceremony. Music fans will have a chance to see the Falcom jdk BAND perform live in celebration of The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky the 1st Chapter remake. Esports will be represented as well, with an international tournament for WBSC eBASEBALL: Power Pros including the Women’s Qualifier.

The event will host a number of special appearances and industry-focused sessions. Among them is a talk featuring PC gaming pioneer Takiya Iijima and an announcement from the century-old Kogado Studio regarding a new Nintendo Switch title. With so many scheduled activities, ranging from live concerts and esports competitions to high-profile reveals, this year’s show is shaping up to provide a balanced mix of entertainment and industry updates.
