Capcom’s action strategy game, Kunitsu-Gami Path of The Goddess, is now available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, and if you’re on the fence about which version to pick up, read ahead.
The game offers 2 graphical modes on PS5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S i.e. Quality and Performance. In terms of graphical settings, there isn’t much to distinguish between the Quality and Performance modes on consoles. On PC, it is possible to run Kunitsu-Gami Path of The Goddess at relatively higher graphical settings and get a better visual experience over the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions.
In terms of image quality, the PS5 and Xbox Series X run Kunitsu-Gami Path of The Goddess at a native resolution of 4K (2160p) in Quality mode and dynamic 4K in Performance mode. Meanwhile, the Xbox Series S runs the game at native 1440p in Quality mode and dynamic 1440p in Performance mode. On the other hand, it’s possible to run the game at native 4K on reasonably capable PC hardware.
With regards to performance, the PS5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S versions of Kunitsu-Gami Path of The Goddess target a frame rate of 60 fps in Quality mode, with the PS5 achieving an average of 50 fps, the Xbox Series X 55 fps, and the Xbox Series S 50 fps. Performance mode also targets a frame rate of 60 fps on all three consoles, but here it maintains it consistently across the board. The PC version, on the other hand, is able to run above 60 fps on capable systems.
All in all, the PC version of Kunitsu-Gami Path of The Goddess delivers the most responsive gameplay experience, while the PS5 and Xbox Series X versions both deliver the best possible console experience, and the preference comes down to your choice of controller.
