TT Games has updated the recommended PC hardware specifications for LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, reducing the previously listed RAM requirement from 32 GB to 16 GB. The change was announced in a post on the game’s official Steam page as part of ongoing optimization efforts ahead of launch.

In the update, the developers stated, “As part of our ongoing testing for LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight on PC, we have revised our recommended hardware specifications from 32 GB RAM down to 16 GB RAM.” The studio also clarified that the system requirements are not final, adding, “Please note, our PC specs at this stage are not final. We will be continuing to optimize and make improvements as we move closer to launch.”

According to the revised listing, both the minimum and recommended configurations now specify 16 GB of RAM. The minimum requirements include Windows 11, an Intel Core i5 9600K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 processor, and a graphics card equivalent to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 with 8 GB, AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT with 8 GB, or Intel Arc A770 with 16 GB. An SSD is required, with 50 GB of available storage.

For recommended settings, the game lists an Intel Core i7 12700K or AMD Ryzen 7 7700X processor paired with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 with 10 GB or AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT with 16 GB. Windows 11 and an SSD remain mandatory.

The reduction in RAM requirements is a notable adjustment, particularly given earlier concerns over the 32 GB recommendation. By aligning both minimum and recommended memory requirements at 16 GB, the update broadens hardware compatibility for prospective players while development continues.

LEGO Batman Legacy of the Dark Knight is scheduled for release on May 29, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, and PC, with a Nintendo Switch 2 version planned for later in the year. Built on Unreal Engine 5, the open-world action-adventure revisits Gotham City across multiple eras of Batman’s history.
