LEGO Horizon Adventures Patch 1.02 Brings New Features and Major Fixes

Patch 1.02 for LEGO Horizon Adventures introduces key new features, including a Player Progression screen to track game progress and enhanced Focus customization options to personalize feature highlights. This update also delivers a host of fixes, addressing issues like Apex Hunts balance, co-op visibility, and various bugs affecting gameplay mechanics. Players will also notice improvements in UI/UX elements, such as an updated HUD scale and localization enhancements, alongside adjustments to combat mechanics, including Erend’s Giant Hammer damage.

Additionally, PC-specific fixes enhance stability and performance on Intel ARC GPUs, while Nintendo Switch players benefit from improved reflections and facial animations. Although several known issues, such as HDR lighting and community challenge tracking, remain under investigation, the update makes significant strides toward a smoother and more engaging gameplay experience.

Known Issues (Not Fixed in This Patch):

  • Community Challenges ‘Stay Frosty,’ ‘Flaming Ninjas!,’ and ‘Silent Storm’ do not progress when using non-elemental weapons.
  • Environmental color changes increment the wrong Community Challenge.
  • Machines may spontaneously explode upon entering an area.
  • HDR lighting may appear blown out on Steam Deck; disabling HDR or adjusting max luminance to 4500 resolves this.
  • Crashes on 13th and 14th gen Intel CPUs may require a BIOS update.

New Features:

  • Added a Player Progression screen to track content and overall progress.

  • Improved Teersa’s defense against projectiles and hold attack responsiveness.
  • Fixed guest player gadget pickup prompts after revival.
  • Resolved targeting issue where the Deathbringer favored host players in co-op.

UI/UX:

  • Added notes indicating which player opened the Pause Menu.
  • Improved HUD scaling for quest markers, damage numbers, and warnings.
  • Fixed button mashing issues causing Pause Menu unresponsiveness.
  • Removed non-functional ‘Continue’ buttons from Brick screens.
  • Highlighted upgrade stat increases with ‘+’ signs on stickers.

Combat:

  • PC: Fixed functionality loss when pausing during Arrow Storm Bow charging.
