Neowiz and Round8 Studio’s 2023 action role-playing title, Lies of P, has received an online co-op mod for both the base game and expansion.
Lies of P players can now experience the entire adventure alongside a friend on PC with the release of the new Seamless Co-op mod from modder Ember Wave. After more than two years of development, followed by several months of closed testing, bug fixing, and polish, the project is now available in beta form, bringing full online co-op support to both the base game and the Overture expansion. World progression, key story events, important interactions, and quest decisions are synchronized between players.

- Extract the downloaded mod files anywhere on your PC
- Launch Loader.exe
- Choose whether you want to host or join a session
- Select your game mode
- Follow the instructions displayed in the loader
- Enable Steam Server support, set a password, and host or join a game
The mod makes use of Steam networking, eliminating the need for third-party LAN software such as Hamachi or Radmin. Players can simply connect through Steam using a password-protected session. It currently only supports version 1.12.0.0 of the game.
In terms of quality-of-life features, players can trade items directly, synchronize saves before sessions begin, view detailed in-game stats through a leaderboard, and access an operations menu that includes options such as respawning, teleporting to teammates, and resyncing items. An automatic backup system has also been included to help recover from bugs, progression issues, or potential softlocks.
Other additions include shared item drops, synchronized quest progression, player health bars, spectator mode upon death, and respawing all dead players at a Stargazer. The modder has also introduced beta difficulty settings that allow players to adjust damage values for both enemies and players at runtime.
