Little Nightmares 3 Demo Spotted on PlayStation Backend

A demo for Little Nightmares 3 has been spotted on the PlayStation Network backend, pointing to an imminent release. The finding was first shared by PlayStationSize on Twitter/X, who often tracks updates and listings within Sony’s database. While Bandai Namco has yet to make an official announcement, earlier previews from PCGames had already mentioned that a demo was planned to drop on September 17, lending credibility to the listing.

If the date holds true, players will be able to step into Little Nightmares 3 weeks before its scheduled release on October 10, 2025. This would mark the first chance for fans to experience the unsettling world crafted by Supermassive Games under Bandai Namco’s banner. The demo could provide a closer look at the new protagonists, Low and Alone, as they rely on their bow and wrench to survive in an environment filled with disturbing creatures and oppressive landscapes.

The PlayStation Store description outlines pre-order bonuses, including the Dark Six Costumes Set and a free digital copy of Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition, now running in 4K at 60 FPS. Both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 versions are included with a single purchase.

Little Nightmares 3 introduces cooperative play, allowing two friends—or one player and an AI partner—to face the horrors of The Nowhere together. Locations such as a decaying Necropolis, a grotesque Candy Factory, and a rain-soaked funfair promise to expand the series’ nightmarish environments, each filled with unique threats like Monster Baby and Candy Weevils.

The game is set to launch worldwide on October 10, 2025, for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Windows.
