Lords of the Fallen Sales Breakdown Shows Digital Strongly Outpacing Physical

CI Games has confirmed that Lords of the Fallen has achieved a new milestone, surpassing 2.04 million units sold worldwide since its release in October 2023. The announcement was made in a report published by the company’s management board on August 18, 2025.

According to the figures disclosed, the majority of sales came from digital distribution, which accounted for 1.6 million units. Physical sales, on the other hand, contributed 440,000 copies to the overall total. The management board classified this information as potentially significant for the company’s financial standing, referencing the disclosure under Article 17 of the Market Abuse Regulation in the European Union.

Marek Tymiński, President of the Management Board of CI Games, confirmed the report, emphasizing the continued performance of the title nearly two years after its debut. While the disclosure was presented in English, the company noted that the official Polish version would take precedence in case of any discrepancies.

Released on October 13, 2023, Lords of the Fallen was developed by Hexworks and published by CI Games as a successor to the 2014 game of the same name. The action role-playing title launched on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, where it received a mixed-to-positive critical reception. Despite varied reviews, the game sold over one million units within its first ten days, demonstrating strong initial demand.

The latest milestone underlines the continued relevance of the franchise, particularly as CI Games recently confirmed that Lords of the Fallen II is in development and is scheduled for release in 2026.
