Lost Eidolons: Veil of the Witch October Update Boosts Progression Rewards and Fixes Concealment Bug

Ocean Drive Studio has released the October Major Update (Version 1.0.11) for Lost Eidolons: Veil of the Witch, focusing on streamlining progression and improving balance. The update significantly increases the rate at which players earn Rune Fragments, Partnership Points, and Sacred Embers—making character and class promotion much faster. Additionally, treasure chest rewards have been enhanced, offering greater gold and Sacred Ember drops to make exploration more rewarding.

The update also brings improvements to Laurent’s spellcasting abilities, including increased range for several key spells and enhanced power for Greater Fireball. Alongside these balance changes, the patch fixes a notable concealment bug that previously revealed hidden units when healed. This update aims to make overall gameplay more fluid, rewarding, and strategically engaging for all tacticians.

Changes and Improvements

  • Increased Rune Fragment Drops
    • More Rune Fragments now drop from boss fights to accelerate class and character promotions.
    • Boss Drop Adjustments:
      • Act 1 Boss: 1 → 4
      • Act 2 Boss: 2 → 4
      • Act 3 Boss: 3 → 4
      • Act 4 Boss 1: 1 → 2
      • Act 4 Boss 2: 1 → 2
  • Increased Partnership Points
    • Partnership Points earned per battle have doubled to help players reach Partnership Level 3 faster.
    • Points per Battle: 10 → 20
  • Increased Sacred Ember Drops
    • Normal Battle Drops: 2 → 4
    • Boss Battle Drops: 3/5/10 → 5/10/15
    • These changes aim to make progression through the Altar of Fire faster and more satisfying.
  • Enhanced Treasure Chest Rewards
    • Gold: 100–150 → 300–500
    • Sacred Embers: 1–2 → 3–5
    • Adjusted to make exploration more worthwhile relative to effort and time invested.
  • Laurent’s Spell Improvements
    • Increased range for: Fireball, Hydro Bomb, and Glacial Gale
    • Increased Power for: Greater Fireball
    • Designed to make Laurent’s spell-based combat more effective and versatile.

Bug Fix

  • Fixed an issue where a concealed unit would be unintentionally revealed when healed while in concealment.

Lost Eidolons: Veil of the Witch is a turn-based tactical roguelite RPG developed by Ocean Drive Studio. Released in its full 1.0 version on October 9, 2025, it serves as a standalone spin-off of the 2022 tactical RPG Lost Eidolons.
