Lost Soul Aside PS5 vs PS5 Pro vs PC Resolution and Performance Comparison

by Ali Haider

Lost Soul Aside, the long-awaited action RPG from Ultizero Games, has finally arrived on PlayStation 5 and PC, bringing with it a wave of technical scrutiny. The game, developed under Sony’s China Hero Project initiative, has received mixed reviews, with particular attention paid to how it performs across different platforms. A closer look reveals notable differences between PS5, PS5 Pro, and PC.

On PlayStation 5, the game offers both performance and quality modes. The standard PS5 performance mode runs at a dynamic 2160p resolution targeting 60 frames per second, averaging between 1189p and 635p depending on rendering demands. Quality mode, meanwhile, caps gameplay at 30 frames per second, with resolution averaging around 1662p to 1080p.

The newer PS5 Pro handles resolution scaling better, with performance mode averaging between 1390p and 1080p while still targeting 60 frames per second. In quality mode, the Pro matches the base PS5 with dynamic 2160p at 30 frames per second, averaging near 1662p to 1080p. Given the game’s fast-paced combat, performance mode is strongly recommended on both consoles, as the higher framerate significantly improves responsiveness without sacrificing too much visual fidelity.

The PC version, despite having potential for stronger hardware performance, has drawn criticism for technical issues. Players have reported stuttering and inconsistent optimization, with the developers continuing to release updates in an effort to stabilize the experience.
