Developer Ultizero Games has rolled out Patch 1.012 for Lost Soul Aside on PlayStation 5 and PC, bringing a series of critical bug fixes, gameplay optimizations, and visual refinements. This update addresses several progression-stopping glitches reported since launch, particularly within Chapters 2 and 4, as well as multiple issues affecting combat audio and scene transitions.
In addition to bug resolutions, the patch enhances camera control options, refines dialogue interactions, and improves performance during visually demanding boss battles. PC players also receive widescreen fixes and optimized field-of-view (FOV) settings to ensure smoother visual presentation.

Bug Fixes (PS5 & PC)
- Fixed a softlock issue in Chapter 2: Skycrest Badlands – SkyMirror Lake that occurred after choosing “Not ready yet” during the dialogue with Gethya.
- Fixed a rare issue where obtaining the Stygian Wraith Polesword, Frosty Might Greatsword, or Ancient Thunder Greatsword did not save correctly. Players previously affected will automatically receive these weapons upon re-entering the game.
- Fixed an issue in Chapter 4 – Royal Court of Frosthold where Kaser could fall through the map after the cutscene during the “Activate the Sky Tower” quest.
- Fixed several energy collection mini-game bugs in Chapter 4 – Redstone Mines and Royal Court of Frosthold, where objectives could not be completed normally.
- Fixed loading issues in the Harbour area where certain scenes would not load or unload properly.
- Fixed dialogue repetition for Arena in Chapter 4 – Redstone Mines during specific combat sequences.
- Fixed missing sword wave sound effects when Kaser performs the Fusion Blast attack.
- Various minor bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements implemented across multiple levels.

- Refined interaction logic with Liana, allowing players to interact at any time without needing to wait for her current animation or action to finish.
- Added a new toggle option in settings for “Auto Camera Rotation During Standby”, granting players greater control over camera behavior.
- Optimized frame rate performance during Water Golem battles in Chapter 3 – Lethonix Dimension, reducing visual strain and improving stability.
- Improved Zana’s gaze direction during multi-character cutscenes in Chapter 4 – Redstone Mines for a more natural cinematic flow.
- Fine-tuned various battle sound effects for improved audio clarity and overall immersion.
PC-Specific Fixes
- Fixed black border display issue that appeared incorrectly on certain widescreen monitors.
- Optimized field of view (FOV) scaling for a broader, more cinematic view when using widescreen aspect ratios.
Lost Soul Aside is a single-player action-adventure RPG developed by Ultizero Games, blending fast-paced, acrobatic combat with cinematic storytelling.
