Mafia: The Old Country August 2025 Update Fixes Gameplay, Visuals, and Stability Issues

Hangar 13 has released the August 2025 update for Mafia: The Old Country, delivering a wide range of fixes and refinements across gameplay, visuals, audio, and stability. Companion AI has been improved to prevent blocked progress, enemy reactions have been tuned, and NPC pathing has been polished to create a smoother gameplay experience. Additional improvements resolve invisible collisions, missing combat covers, and objectives tied to specific actions, ensuring missions flow more naturally.

The update also addresses ghosting issues in cinematics, improves hair physics and lighting, and fixes missing subtitles and audio mismatches across multiple languages. Platform-specific improvements include better stability on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles, along with a fix for DLSS Frame Generation on Steam. Overall, the update makes significant progress toward refining performance and delivering a more stable and immersive experience for players.
