Mafia The Old Country Free Ride Update Expands Exploration With New Challenges and First-Person Driving

by Ali Haider

The Free Ride update for Mafia The Old Country, arriving November 20, broadens the experience with a suite of new activities that encourage deeper exploration of Valle Dorata. Players can tackle repeatable challenges spanning races, combat, and stealth, all designed to showcase both familiar locations and newly introduced areas. Completing challenges awards Dinari, which can be spent on a variety of new items, including outfits, charms, weapons, and vehicles. The update also brings requested additions such as Photo Mode and fully supported first-person driving, offering a more immersive way to appreciate the detail and atmosphere of early twentieth-century Sicily.

The update enhances the main campaign as well, adding Classic Difficulty for players seeking a higher degree of tension, and introducing Cinema Siciliano, a visual mode that presents the story like a vintage Italian film. First-person driving also carries over into story missions, creating a more intimate perspective during key sequences. All rewards unlocked in Free Ride can be used across the campaign, giving both new and returning players meaningful reasons to revisit its narrative and world.
