Mario Kart World Version 1.5.0 introduces new multiplayer functionality and regional language support. The update expands Knockout Tour by enabling team races when playing in online and wireless rooms, adding a new competitive layer to the mode.
Alongside the new feature, the patch resolves several gameplay and online-related issues, including a crash tied to a specific character and inconsistencies in rating display. Additional fixes have been applied to improve overall stability and player experience.

- Language selection can be changed via the Language setting in the System menu under System Settings.

- Fixed an issue where the game could sometimes end when a player used Kamek on Choco Mountain.
- Fixed an issue where the displayed rating could appear incorrect when joining Everyone in Online Play while in a room.
- Addressed several additional issues to improve overall gameplay stability.
Mario Kart World Version 1.5.0 was released on January 21, 2026. Mario Kart World is available exclusively on Nintendo Switch 2.
