Arc System Works has shared an update on Marvel Tōkon Fighting Souls, confirming several gameplay refinements based on player feedback and announcing a new playable build for the upcoming Arc World Tour Finals.

In a message addressed to fans, producer Takeshi Yamanaka thanked players for their support following the recent X-Men team reveal and outlined ongoing adjustments to the game’s design. “We are currently refining the game design based on feedback from event demos and Closed Beta Tests 1 and 2,” Yamanaka said.

According to the development team, some of these improvements are already visible in the latest trailer. Changes include updates to the Assist mechanic, faster character switching, and adjustments to Link Attacks. Other refinements, such as tuning the frequency of area transitions, were implemented but not shown in the footage.

“Our team continues to work on improving the gameplay experience thanks to your feedback,” the official account stated, adding that a full list of currently implemented changes will be shared before the Arc World Tour.

The updated build will be playable at the Arc World Tour Finals in Seoul, South Korea on March 20. A total of 11 characters will be available at the event, including newly announced fighters Magik, Wolverine, and Danger.

Marvel Tōkon Fighting Souls is a 2.5D tag team fighting game developed by Arc System Works and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment in collaboration with Marvel Games. Built in Unreal Engine 5, the title features a four-versus-four combat system where teams share a single health bar and is presented with an anime-inspired art direction.

The game is scheduled for global release on August 6, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Windows PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
