Insomniac Games has released Patch 6 for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 on PC, bringing a range of bug fixes and performance enhancements. This update, version 1.318.1.0, primarily focuses on improving stability and addressing visual issues related to upscaling and frame generation.
Among the most significant fixes, the patch resolves problems with AMD FSR Frame Generation, which previously caused visual distortions when used alongside upscaling. Additionally, a ghosting issue affecting NVIDIA DLSS Frame Generation has been fixed, preventing portions of the player’s suit from becoming invisible. The update also includes refinements to ray-traced ambient occlusion and shadows, ensuring better graphical fidelity. Furthermore, Intel XeSS upscaling has been updated to version 2.0.1, correcting bright visual artifacts that affected some players. Several mission-related bugs, such as duplicate NPCs, progression blockers, and desynchronized cutscene audio, have also been addressed.
