Patch 2 for MIO Memories in Orbit introduces a range of fixes aimed at improving overall stability and gameplay flow. Several situations that could previously result in hard locks have been addressed, while additional fixes target soft lock scenarios that players could encounter during exploration or progression.
The update also delivers a set of quality-of-life improvements and balance adjustments. These include changes to elevators, gameplay modifiers, and certain environmental elements, alongside smaller technical fixes such as localization updates, sound adjustments, and corrections to various in-game interactions.

Hard Locks
- Fixed an issue where death on Anra after opening the door could cause a hard lock if the player quit the game after Halyn’s cutscene without taking the checkpoint
- Fixed an issue where players could access the Vault area without the Flowing Striders and become stuck after taking the checkpoint
Soft Locks
- Fixed a case where players could reach the big fly arena without the hook
- Fixed situations where players could reach certain platforms during flashbacks and become stuck
- Fixed an issue where Ancile and Targa could completely disappear, leaving the player trapped in the room
Bug Fixes
- Fixed Spanish localization
- Implemented several SFX fixes
- Updated the game credits
- Fixed an invisible killzone in the Promenade
- Added the holographic planet to the true ending
- Fixed flowing steps behavior
- Fixed Plums disappearing during the Saw Long chase

- Fixed pearl related issues in The Pit
- Corrected the incorrect name for Mel at the end
- Fixed an issue involving Flora’s corpse
- Fixed a case where Goliath could disappear

- Elevator automatically unlocks after the first encounter with Halyn
- Added unsafe zones to prevent death loops and avoid blocking respawns
- Balance adjustments applied to the perfect Sharpened Hairpin
- Adjustments made to negative modifiers
- Keyboard fixes implemented for Flowing Striders
- Promenade overseer has been moved
MIO Memories in Orbit is a 2.5D Metroidvania developed by Douze Dixièmes and released on January 20, 2026. The game is available on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, and Nintendo Switch, as well as Nintendo Switch 2.
