Capcom has announced that Monster Hunter Wilds hotfix patch version 1.020.01.00 will be deployed later today across all supported platforms. This patch addresses serious crashing issues that occurred when accessing the Equipment Appearance and Palico Equipment Appearance menus, alongside stabilizing frame rate problems experienced on PC when ranged weapons were equipped. Players will need to update their game to the latest version to continue online sessions once the patch is live.
The developer has also acknowledged a range of known issues reported after Title Update 2. These include text errors for the Cosmetic DLC Pass on PlayStation 5, duplicated key bindings in underwater controls on Steam, and rare crashes linked to Focus Strike with Insect Glaive weapons. Capcom intends to address these matters in a future update, though a release date has yet to be determined.
