Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 3 Brings Final Fantasy XIV Crossover on September 29

by Ali Haider

Capcom has unveiled details for Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 3, which launches on September 29 as a free update. This patch introduces a crossover event with Final Fantasy XIV Online, where hunters will battle the Omega Planetes in a special quest featuring unique mechanics from the MMORPG. Players can also unlock the Dark Knight and Pictomancer jobs, gaining access to exclusive abilities, weapons, and gear sets inspired by Final Fantasy XIV. Additional rewards include new Palico and Seikret equipment, as well as cosmetic extras like pendants and gestures.

Beyond the crossover, the update brings Arch-tempered Nu Udra as a permanent Event Quest with exclusive crafting materials, alongside new quests for rarity 8 Artian items. Hunters can also tackle a limited-time Seregios Challenge Quest and enjoy free nostalgic gestures. Cosmetic DLC Pack 3 and other paid DLC expand customization options further. Looking ahead, Capcom teased the Festival of Accord: Dreamspell for fall and confirmed that Title Update 4 will arrive in December, featuring Gogmazios and more endgame content.
