Mortal Kombat 1 Update 1.010 Introduces Ray Tracing Enhancements, New Fighters, and Character Balancing

The latest update for Mortal Kombat 1, version 1.010, delivers significant enhancements across multiple platforms. On PC, ray tracing options have been expanded, optimizing both gameplay and cinematics. Additional technical improvements include better memory allocation, faster asset loading in menus, and enhanced stability when the FPS limit is below 60. The Nintendo Switch version receives minor visual improvements, such as better textures for certain skins and environmental details. Additionally, online matchmaking has been improved for more consistent performance.

This patch also introduces new fighters, including T-1000 and Madam Bo, alongside fresh skins like the Outworld Menagerie set for Kitana, Mileena, and Tanya. Various character balance changes have been implemented, including new moves for fighters like Baraka, General Shao, and Raiden. Several fighters, such as Reiko and Peacemaker, have had their health increased, while others received adjustments to attack recovery times, hit reactions, and combo potential. Kameo Fighters have also been refined, with some receiving new moves and attack optimizations.
