Nintendo has expanded its My Mario lineup with a fresh wave of products and experiences aimed at younger audiences, introducing new ways for children and families to engage with familiar Mushroom Kingdom characters.
The latest additions include a new interactive board book titled Hello, Mario!, developed by Nintendo and published by Penguin Random House. The book features movable tabs and tactile elements designed to encourage hands-on interaction, with playful animations such as Mario removing his hat or shifting his expression as pages are explored.
On the digital side, Nintendo has released the Hello, Yoshi! app, which is available as a free download on compatible smart devices as well as Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch via the Nintendo eShop. The app invites players to interact directly with Yoshi through simple gestures such as pulling, stretching, or tapping, prompting a variety of humorous reactions. After extended play, Yoshi eventually falls asleep, a feature intended to encourage breaks and help manage screen time.
The My Mario collection also grows with a new installment in its stop-motion video series. Episode 7 of “It’s Me, Mario!” is now available to watch on the official My Mario website and the Play Nintendo YouTube channel, continuing the lighthearted adventures of Mario and his companions.
Rounding out the update are three new wooden block sets themed around Peach, Yoshi, and Luigi. Each set includes three pieces made from beech hardwood, designed to promote imaginative play. In addition to their use as toys, the character blocks are compatible with amiibo functionality in supported Super Mario titles. These pieces are also included in the larger Mario and Friends Wood Block 30-piece set.
With this latest update, Nintendo continues to position the My Mario range as an accessible entry point for younger fans, blending physical toys, digital interactions, and video content into a unified experience.
