NBA 2K26 Patch Notes 1.4 Bring Stability Fixes to The City and MyCareer

by Ali Haider

Visual Concepts has rolled out Patch 1.4 for NBA 2K26 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, with the Steam update to follow shortly. The patch is primarily focused on stability improvements, matchmaking fixes, and progression updates in MyCareer. Developers note that while gameplay adjustments have not been made with this release, a much larger patch is planned before the launch of Season 2, which will address a wider range of community feedback across the entire game.

The update re-enables Build Specialization progress in NBA games, resolves issues with Daily Challenges, and improves matchmaking within The City. On PC, additional GPU optimizations have also been applied to improve performance. While this patch is relatively modest, it sets the stage for a broader wave of changes expected in the coming weeks.
