Nintendo has expanded its NES Classics library for Nintendo Switch Online subscribers with the addition of three more retro titles, bringing PAC-MAN, Mendel Palace, and The Tower of Druaga to the service.
Leading the update is PAC-MAN, one of the most recognizable arcade games of all time. Players guide the iconic character through maze-like stages, collecting pellets while avoiding ghosts. Power Pellets temporarily shift the balance, allowing players to turn the tables on their pursuers, while bonus fruit items provide extra points for higher scores.
Also included is Mendel Palace, an action title originally released in 1990. The game follows Bon-Bon as he attempts to rescue his friend Candy, who has been trapped within her own dream. Gameplay revolves around flipping floor panels to defeat enemies and clear paths, with certain panels offering unique effects that can be used strategically to progress through stages more efficiently.
Rounding out the update is The Tower of Druaga, a dungeon-style experience centered on ascending a dangerous tower. Players take control of the hero Gil, navigating maze-like floors while locating keys to advance. Each level introduces new threats, with some enemies requiring precise timing and defense, while others can eliminate the player instantly. The game also features hidden objectives tied to each floor, rewarding players with essential items that can influence progression.
These additions are now available as part of the Nintendo Switch Online subscription, continuing Nintendo’s effort to expand its catalog of classic titles.
