New Grave Seasons Trailer Debuts at PC Gaming Show Most Wanted

by Greg Martin

Blumhouse Games and developer Perfect Garbage unveiled a new trailer for Grave Seasons during the PC Gaming Show Most Wanted showcase. The presentation highlighted additional character information for the project, which has been gaining attention for its blend of life simulation and horror themes.

Grave Seasons was ranked number 24 on PC Gamer’s list of the top 25 most anticipated titles for 2026. The publication also recognized Crisol Theater of Idols from Vermila Studios as one of its notable upcoming releases. The ranking reflects growing interest in smaller-scale independent titles entering the 2026 release cycle.

The newly released trailer introduces a character identified as a ghost, marking the first appearance of this figure within the game’s promotional materials. Neither Blumhouse Games nor Perfect Garbage provided further narrative or mechanical context for the character’s role, leaving unclear how this addition will influence the main storyline or player progression.

According to the developer, Grave Seasons allows players to engage in routine activities such as farming, fishing, and interacting with townspeople in a rural mountain environment known as Ashenridge. These systems are paired with an overarching plot involving a supernatural serial killer, a premise that positions the title within the emerging cozy horror subgenre.

The game is planned for release on Steam and is also in development for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. A release window has not been announced, and the developer has not confirmed whether platform launches will be simultaneous.
