Sony is set to remove nine games from the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium catalogs in February 2026, marking another monthly refresh for the subscription service. The departing lineup spans multiple genres, from major sports releases and role-playing games to smaller indie titles, giving subscribers a limited window to experience them before they are no longer included.
Headlining the list is WWE 2K25, the latest installment in the long-running wrestling franchise. The game features The Bloodline’s Dynasty showcase and introduces intergender wrestling, a long-requested addition to the series. WWE 2K25 was added to PlayStation Plus in September 2025, making its upcoming removal relatively swift compared to other titles on the list.
Another notable departure is New World Aeternum, Amazon’s open-world MMO that blends action combat with large-scale territory wars. The game joined the service in July 2025 and is already confirmed to be getting delisted entirely ahead of a planned shutdown in 2027, which makes its exit from PlayStation Plus largely expected.
Several well-regarded role-playing and action titles are also leaving. SaGa Frontier Remastered, added in August 2023, modernized the classic JRPG with improved visuals, a new eighth protagonist, and its signature non-linear Free Scenario system. Cult of the Lamb, which arrived on the service in August 2024, combines rogue-lite combat with colony management and stood out for its unusual mix of cute aesthetics and dark themes. Super Neptunia RPG, a 2D side-scrolling spin-off with hand-drawn art and turn-based combat, will also depart after joining in June 2024.
The Ascent, a cyberpunk-themed isometric action RPG set inside a massive corporate-controlled arcology, leaves the catalog after being added in November 2024. On the smaller scale, Carto, a puzzle adventure built around rearranging map tiles, exits following its April 2024 addition.
Rounding out the list are Rez Infinite and Spirit of the North. Rez Infinite, added in October 2024, is known for its music-driven rail shooter design and full VR support. Spirit of the North, which joined as early as July 2022, offers a quiet, atmospheric adventure centered on a red fox and the Northern Lights.
With February approaching, subscribers may want to prioritize these titles before they rotate out of PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium.
