Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream is an upcoming social simulation game developed and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch. It represents the first new entry in the Tomodachi series in more than a decade and is positioned as a direct sequel to the 2013 Nintendo 3DS title Tomodachi Life.

Nintendo has confirmed that the game introduces several modernized elements compared to its predecessor. Among the highlighted updates are a revamped Mii Maker and the addition of ears to character models, suggesting expanded customization options for players. These changes point toward an effort to refresh the series while maintaining its core identity.

Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream is currently scheduled for a global release in Autumn 2026.
