Nintendo has announced a limited-time promotion that pairs the Nintendo Switch 2 system with Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Galaxy 2, offering a $20 discount when purchased together. The deal will be available from April 12 through May 9 at participating retailers, including Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, Target, and Walmart, both online and in select stores.
The offer arrives alongside renewed interest in the Galaxy series, allowing players to experience both titles on Nintendo’s latest hardware. Those who pick up the bundle can access a free update designed for the Nintendo Switch 2, allowing immediate access to both games with technical enhancements tailored to the new system.
Super Mario Galaxy and its sequel have been updated with improved resolution and interface adjustments, alongside additional Storybook Chapters and a newly introduced Assist Mode. The original game follows Mario as he travels across space to retrieve Power Stars stolen by Bowser, with guidance from Rosalina. Its sequel expands on the formula, bringing Yoshi into the adventure as players explore a series of imaginative galaxies aboard a ship shaped like Mario’s head.
On Nintendo Switch 2, both titles support 4K resolution and introduce Joy-Con 2 mouse controls, enabling a second player to participate in a new way. The promotion will run while supplies last and is based on the combined purchase of the console and the game package.
The discounted bundle will only be available until May 9, after which pricing will return to standard rates.
