The Nintendo Switch 2 version adds further upgrades, including improved GameChat functionality, an option to cancel all active downloads, and enhancements to accessibility and audio customization. The update also refines HDR display options and introduces Thai and Polish as new language settings. - Added symbols above software icons on the HOME Menu to show whether the software is physical or digital.
- Added the ability to download data for a virtual game card even if the “Use Online License” setting is turned off.
- This option is available in the Options menu of a virtual game card via Virtual Game Cards on the HOME Menu.
- Updated the information shown for Save Data Cloud Backup when launching certain software.
- Renamed “Platinum Point Notification Settings” to “Nintendo Switch Online Notification Settings” in the Notifications menu under System Settings.
- Added the ability to disable the following options when transferring data to a Nintendo Switch 2 system:
- Redownload Software on Nintendo Switch 2
