Nintendo Temporarily Disables Super Mario Party Jamboree Online Leaderboards Due to Technical Issue

Nintendo has announced a temporary suspension of the online leaderboards for Super Mario Party Jamboree, including its recently released Nintendo Switch 2 Edition. This decision follows the emergence of an unspecified technical issue that currently prevents updated player records from being properly reflected on the leaderboards.

In an official statement, Nintendo confirmed that the feature responsible for uploading player records to the online rankings has been temporarily disabled. As a result, any progress made in ranked modes will not appear in the game’s current standings. The company apologized for the inconvenience and reassured players that it is actively preparing a software update to address the problem. Further communication will follow once the fix is ready for deployment.

Super Mario Party Jamboree is the latest mainline entry in Nintendo’s long-running party game series, first launched in 2024 for the Nintendo Switch. Developed by Nintendo Cube and published by Nintendo, the game maintains the series’ traditional board-game format interspersed with a variety of minigames. It offers a mix of single-player content and multiple multiplayer modes, some of which support up to twenty players through online matchmaking.

The upgraded Super Mario Party Jamboree: Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Jamboree TV was released on July 24, 2025, and introduced new modes and minigames. Despite these additions, the new version drew mixed feedback due to its underwhelming visual improvements.

While Nintendo has not specified a timeline for the upcoming fix, the company’s prompt acknowledgment suggests that a resolution may arrive in the near future. Until then, players eager to climb the ranks will need to wait for the system to return to full functionality.
