Nioh 3 Demo Ver. 1.02.01 introduces balance adjustments to Ki recovery-related special effects and improves shrine functionality for restocking consumables. The update also resolves multiple issues affecting Samurai and Ninja skills, style switching, and unintended player behavior.
Additional fixes target crashes, control configuration problems, and input-related issues on Steam, contributing to a more stable and consistent experience across both platforms.

Balance Adjustments
- Increased effect values of special effects Ki Recovery Speed and Ki Recovery Speed (Unscathed)
- Praying at shrines now automatically restocks consumable items other than projectiles and Elixirs from the storehouse
Bug Fixes (PS5 / Steam)
- Fixed issue in Character Creation where certain actions caused incorrect menu transitions and occasional crashes
- Fixed Samurai Skill Running Water randomly disappearing
- Applying Ver. 1.02.01 restores this skill
- Fixed Samurai Skill Running Water failing to activate under certain conditions
- Fixed issue where enabling Style Shift and Burst Break Separation caused Burst Break to trigger Style Shift after Ninjutsu Pheasant Leap
- Fixed issue allowing quick cancellation of Style Shift with Ninjutsu or jump while Tonfa was drawn in Ninja Style
- Fixed issue preventing Grapple while fighting bare-handed in Ninja Style
- Fixed issue where special effect Max Ninjutsu Stock lost its increased stock after performing Style Shift
- Fixed issue allowing access to unintended areas
- Fixed issue causing status ailments on enemies to disappear faster than intended during multiplayer sessions

- Fixed issue occasionally causing an error when the game ended
- Fixed issue preventing walking while locked on when using keyboard movement
- Fixed crash when changing monitors via Monitor setting under Visuals
- Fixed inability to bind ranged weapon controls to the same key as Guard in keyboard and mouse settings
- Fixed inability to shoot arrows when Dodge was set to R2 in control configuration
Nioh 3 is scheduled for release on February 6, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Windows via Steam. Ver. 1.02.01 is available for PS5 and Steam.
