No Man’s Sky Update 6.10 Enhances Corvette Gameplay, Fixes Major VR and Stability Issues

by Ali Haider

Hello Games has released Update 6.10 for No Man’s Sky, introducing a large set of bug fixes, optimizations, and quality-of-life enhancements focused primarily on Corvette functionality. The update resolves several long-standing issues, including crashes linked to Corvette movement, incorrect teleporter persistence, and problems with water behavior when transitioning from space to planetary surfaces. VR users also benefit from major improvements, such as corrected stair traversal, functional quick menu interactions, and better controller alignment when flying corvettes in first-person view.

Beyond Corvette fixes, the patch refines gameplay and performance across multiple areas. Environmental stability, lighting transitions, and visual consistency have been upgraded, while UI and input systems receive additional polish. This includes Steam Input support on macOS and refined user interface layouts. The update also improves rendering, collision detection, and object lighting, making planetary and ship interiors more visually coherent and stable. Performance optimizations further enhance gameplay fluidity, particularly on platforms like Nintendo Switch.
