Netflix has released the first trailer for One Piece Season 2, giving fans a fresh look at the live-action adaptation and confirming that Season 3 is already in the works. The teaser ends with the tagline “And Season 3 Sets Sail Soon,” a clear nod to ongoing production for the next installment.

The trailer introduces three major characters for the first time in the live-action series. Viewers get their first look at Brogy, played by Brendan Murray, who towers over others with a friendly yet commanding presence. Charithra Chandran debuts as Nefertari Vivi, also known as Miss Wednesday, while Lera Abova appears as Nico Robin, using her Hana Hana no Mi devil fruit powers on screen. Fans will also spot Callum Kerr stepping into the role of Smoker, instantly recognizable with his trademark two cigars.

The official YouTube description sets the tone for the upcoming season, warning that the Grand Line is no place for the faint of heart and revealing that One Piece: Into the Grand Line is set to premiere in 2026. It also subtly confirms that work on Season 3 has already commenced.

Based on Eiichiro Oda’s globally popular manga, One Piece follows Monkey D. Luffy, played by Iñaki Godoy, and his diverse crew, the Straw Hat Pirates, as they chase dreams across the high seas. The live-action series, produced by Tomorrow Studios with Shueisha, earned widespread praise when it debuted in August 2023 for its faithful adaptation, performances, and visual effects.

Production on Season 2 began in June 2024, with Netflix officially renewing the series for a third season in August 2025, well before the upcoming season’s release. With the new trailer creating excitement and introducing key characters from the original manga and anime, anticipation for the 2026 premiere continues to build among fans worldwide.
