Recreate Games has rolled out a new update for Party Animals, version 1.11.2.0, dated April 10, 2025. This latest patch introduces a significant quality-of-life feature alongside a comprehensive suite of bug fixes and gameplay optimizations across multiple game modes. Highlighting this update is the ability to leave offline messages in private chats, allowing for better communication between friends who are not online simultaneously.
Beyond this new feature, the update resolves a range of issues impacting gameplay stability and user experience. Notable fixes include several bugs within Crisis Mode, particularly those involving ghost player interactions, and multiple glitches in Winter Cabin variants such as PAWS and Bluffalo Club. Visual inconsistencies, UI persistence, and animation glitches have also been addressed. Additionally, the patch delivers a series of audio, visual, and interface optimizations designed to improve the overall polish and fluidity of gameplay interactions.

- Offline Messaging: Players can now leave private messages for friends even when they are not online.
Bug Fixes
- Corrected timestamp errors for the first private message received.
- Crisis Mode:
- Fixed issue where ghosts could block critical items like fuel cans, oxygen tanks, and fire extinguishers.
- Fixed voice communication bug where ghosts could not hear each other in consecutive games within the same lobby.
- SMASH Mode: Resolved an issue where the “Spinach” item caused players to sober up more quickly than intended.
- Winter Cabin:
- Fixed animation glitches under certain conditions.
- Winter Cabin – PAWS:
- UI for color selection now properly disappears after restarting with a color-change card.
- Fixed cursor transformation bug where it momentarily turned into a crossbow after another player used the crossbow card.
- Winter Cabin – Bluffalo Club:
- Resolved an issue where eliminated players were stunned after leaving the table.
- Platform-specific: Fixed a crash on Steam that occurred under certain circumstances.
Optimizations
- Voice chat from other tables is now fully muted after joining a table in Bluffalo Club.
- Added new sound effects and visual feedback:
- Buzzing sound when hit by bullets.
- Invisibility effect when using the “Steal” card.
- UI Enhancements:
- Enabled scoreboard sidebar in the board game selection screen.
- Daily limit for Treats increased to 255 in Winter Cabin.
- Improved gesture animations for “Butt Scratch” and “Hungry”.
These changes follow the previous update (Version 1.11.1.0, April 2, 2025), which addressed issues such as visual model errors, gesture preview glitches, and missing sound effects in Final Destination, along with matchmaking and UI bugs in Winter Cabin and Bluffalo Club.
