Discussion about the future of the Atlus Persona series has intensified following a recent discovery related to the Asian Persona 30th Anniversary website. A fan found a Google search result that references the anniversary site and includes the phrase “the next chapter in the series.” This has sparked renewed interest among fans who are monitoring official cues regarding what might be next for the franchise. Although this phrasing does not appear directly on the website, its presence in Google search summaries has raised many questions.
This development follows earlier reporting that Atlus is formally celebrating the 30th anniversary of Persona throughout 2026. The anniversary campaign began with its first update on January 8, marking the start of a year-long series of announcements and events tied to the franchise. Atlus confirmed that updates related to the anniversary would roll out over time, beginning with this initial presentation.
The official Persona series website previously outlined plans for the anniversary, noting that celebrations would start in January ahead of the franchise’s actual anniversary later in the year. At the time, it was suggested that the first update could potentially be connected to upcoming projects, including Persona 4 Revival, rather than a brand-new numbered entry.
The Persona 30th Anniversary initiative is officially underway. The first live stream focused primarily on Goods and Events, revealing anniversary merchandise, a Persona 5 Royal collaboration with Sanrio at a Shibuya pop-up shop, and details about a Persona Symphonic Concert scheduled for April 2026. Outside of merchandise and events, software-related news was limited, aside from a Fitness Boxing 3 downloadable content tie-in.
