SEGA has rolled out the Version 3.4 update for Persona 5: The Phantom X, bringing new story content, a playable character from Persona 5 Royal, and a range of limited-time events to the mobile and PC title. The update is available now and centers on the arrival of Kasumi Yoshizawa, who joins the game as a 5-star Phantom Thief under the codename Violet.
The headline addition is a crossover event titled Crossroads of Fate Laboratory Arc Part 1, which blends elements from Persona 5 Royal with The Phantom X. The storyline follows Wonder and Lufel as they are unexpectedly pulled into the Metaverse due to a malfunction, leading them to a mysterious Palace devoid of the usual signs of malice. During their investigation, they encounter Kasumi Yoshizawa, setting the stage for a new narrative that unites characters from both titles. The event will remain available until April 2, 2026, at 1:59 AM UTC.
Players can explore a new Palace, take on boss encounters, and earn rewards such as Gold Tickets and Platinum Milicoins, which can be used within the game’s gacha systems. Additional rewards, including Meta Jewels and other items, are tied to mission completion and progression through event stages. A separate event, Jose’s Dicey Adventure, builds on this content by allowing players to use dice earned from gameplay to explore Mementos, triggering random events and boss encounters that yield further rewards.
The update also introduces new boss battle challenges tied to a Distortion Level system. By defeating these bosses, players can collect materials such as Loaded Dice and Joy Medals, which can be exchanged for exclusive items, including a unique weapon for the protagonist. A stamina-based mode unlocks after clearing stages, offering repeatable challenges for additional rewards.
Kasumi Yoshizawa is also featured in a limited-time contract banner with increased drop rates, alongside her exclusive 5-star weapon. In gameplay terms, she is categorized as a Bless Assassin and is designed to capitalize on critical hits and team synergy, particularly through mechanics that enhance her damage output when allies activate special abilities. Her banner will be available until April 16, 2026, at 1:59 AM UTC. Outside of combat, she can also appear at Café Leblanc, where players can engage in activities to earn extra rewards.
To mark the update, players can take part in a login campaign running until April 2, 2026, offering 7 Platinum Milicoins over 7 days. SEGA is also distributing a total of 600 Meta Jewels, split between a general update bonus and a reward tied to the game’s official broadcast.
Alongside the in-game content, a limited-time campaign tied to the SEGA Spring Sale is now live. The promotion highlights several ATLUS titles, including Persona 3 Reload and Persona 5 Royal, discounted by up to 70 percent. Players of The Phantom X can claim exclusive collaboration frames themed around these games through an in-game event page, with availability also ending on April 2, 2026.
