Phantom Blade Zero Surpasses One Million Wishlists Milestone

by Ali Haider

Phantom Blade Zero has surpassed one million wishlists across digital storefronts, marking a major milestone for the upcoming action role-playing game. The announcement was made via the game’s official social media account, just 15 days after wishlisting opened on December 12. According to the developers, the total has already exceeded one million, reflecting strong early interest ahead of launch.

Sharing the news publicly, the Phantom Blade Zero team wrote, “In just 15 days since opening on Dec 12, #PhantomBladeZero has hit 1,000,000+ wishlists.” The statement continued with a message of appreciation, saying, “From everyone on the dev team, thank you for the overwhelming support.” The post concluded by wishing fans a happy new year and encouraging users to continue wishlisting the game across supported platforms.

Phantom Blade Zero is currently available to wishlist on Steam, PlayStation 5, and the Epic Games Store. The developers also confirmed once again that the game is scheduled to launch worldwide on September 9, 2026. While the announcement itself was brief, the speed at which the game reached this milestone is notable, especially given the relatively short window since wishlists became available.

The title was officially revealed during the 2023 PlayStation Showcase and later received a confirmed release date during an appearance at The Game Awards 2025. Phantom Blade Zero is being developed by Chinese studio S Game and is positioned as a fast-paced action role-playing game with a distinctive visual and combat identity. Players will assume the role of Soul, an elite assassin who is framed for the murder of his Order’s patriarch and brought back to life by a mystic healer. This revival comes with a strict condition, granting Soul only 66 days to uncover the truth and clear his name.

The game is set to launch on PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. It has been confirmed as a timed console exclusive for PlayStation, with the PC version launching alongside it.
