PlayStation Will Bring More First Party Games To Xbox, Insider Reports

Sony Interactive Entertainment will be bringing more PlayStation first party games to Xbox consoles, claims insider Nate the Hate.

Known insider Nate the Hate took to Twitter/X to respond to a question regarding the possibility of more PlayStation first party titles coming to Xbox after Helldivers 2, such as the rumored LEGO Horizon Adventures port. In response, he claimed that Sony Interactive Entertainment will indeed bring more exclusives to Microsoft’s consoles. That said, he doesn’t know anything about the possibility of an Xbox port of LEGO Horizon Adventures.

LEGO Horizon Adventures is already available across PlayStation, Nintendo, and PC platforms, suggesting that Sony is already open to bringing the game to consoles besides its own. If Nate’s claim regarding more PlayStation first party games coming to Xbox is true, the Horizon-themed LEGO title would be the least surprising port.

The insider further clarified that he didn’t suggest that Sony Interactive Entertainment would port its entire slate of PlayStation first party games to Xbox. As of now, he has no specifics in regards to what titles will be ported to Microsoft’s platform.

Last month, Sony Interactive Entertainment officially announced that Helldivers 2 will be making its way to the Xbox Series X|S. The port will be handled by Nixxes, a studio well known for bringing several PlayStation Studios projects to PC. The announcement comes as a significant departure from Sony’s previous publishing practices. Historically, the company has avoided porting second-party or first-party intellectual properties directly to Xbox, despite expanding on PC and occasionally the Nintendo Switch.

Discussions around a possible Xbox release had first emerged in April 2024, when co-host Shpeshal Nick on The Xbox Era Podcast suggested that Sony was in early talks to explore the idea. At that time, Nick hinted at a more flexible strategy under PlayStation’s leadership, hinting at a willingness to expand certain franchises beyond traditional console boundaries.

The Xbox port of Helldivers 2 is set for release on August 26, 2025, at a price of $39.99.
