Sony Interactive Entertainment will launch its 2025 Black Friday promotions on November 21, introducing a broad set of discounts across PlayStation hardware, software, accessories, and subscription services. The limited-time offers will be available through the PlayStation Store, direct.playstation.com, PlayStation Gear, and participating retailers, though pricing and availability will vary by region.
The company confirmed that multiple PlayStation 5 bundles will be discounted for the event. The PS5 Digital Edition 825GB Fortnite Flowering Chaos Bundle will carry a recommended price of 399.99 USD, while a standard PS5 1TB bundle with the same content will be listed at 449.99 USD. Both packages include exclusive in-game items tied to Fortnite as well as 1000 V Bucks. Sony added that certain regions will see price reductions of 100 USD on PS5, PS5 Digital Edition, and PS5 Pro models, though specific territories were not identified.
Additional hardware promotions will cover several accessories. According to Sony, the PlayStation VR2 headset will receive a 100 USD discount, with reductions also applied to the PlayStation Portal remote player, Pulse Elite headset, Pulse Explore earbuds, DualSense Edge controller, the standard DualSense controller, and the Access controller. The company also stated that selected PS5 titles, including Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, Lost Soul Aside, Astro Bot, and God of War Ragnarok, will be discounted, although the full list will only be available when the sale begins.
Sony will also apply Black Friday pricing to its PlayStation Plus subscription service. New members in participating countries can save up to 33 percent on a 12-month plan. Existing subscribers can receive the same discount when upgrading to the Premium or Deluxe tiers. The company noted that the PlayStation Plus library currently includes titles such as The Last of Us Part II, Cyberpunk 2077, Mortal Kombat 1, and Hogwarts Legacy, though availability continues to vary by region and plan.
Higher-tier subscribers also gain access to cloud streaming for selected PS5 titles and can stream digital games directly to a PS5 console or a PlayStation Portal device. In addition, Sony Pictures Core provides Premium members with a rotating catalogue of up to 100 movies, while all users on PS5 and PS4 will receive temporary discounts on selected films during the promotional period.
PlayStation Gear will run a separate sitewide sale with a claimed 60 percent reduction on merchandise inspired by several PlayStation franchises. Shoppers can expect offers on apparel, drinkware, and other branded items through gear.playstation.com.
