Sony Interactive Entertainment has confirmed that State of Play will return this week, with a new presentation scheduled to air on Thursday, February 12. The broadcast is set to run for more than 60 minutes and will feature a wide range of announcements and updates from developers around the world.
According to Sony, the upcoming State of Play will highlight a mix of third-party and indie titles coming to PlayStation 5, alongside new information from teams within PlayStation Studios. Viewers can expect gameplay footage, fresh announcements, and updates on previously revealed projects during the extended showcase.
The presentation will be broadcast live on February 12 at 2 pm Pacific Time and 5 pm Eastern Time, with a corresponding broadcast on February 13 at 7 am Japan Standard Time. The stream will be available to watch on YouTube and Twitch, presented in English with Japanese subtitles also supported.
Sony has not shared a detailed list of games or studios that will appear during the show, but the company describes the lineup as a global selection of developers and projects. More specifics are expected to be revealed during the presentation itself.
State of Play is PlayStation’s regular digital event format, used to share news and updates about upcoming games and hardware across its ecosystem. This February edition marks one of the longer broadcasts in the series, signaling a substantial slate of content for PS5 players.
