The final paragraph of the store description reportedly states, “Developed in collaboration with Marvel Games and Sony Interactive Entertainment, Marvel’s Wolverine comes to PS5 consoles in the third quarter of 2026.” This wording contrasts slightly with Sony’s officially communicated release window of Fall 2026.
The discrepancy has raised questions about whether the game’s launch timing has shifted. Under standard calendar definitions, September is the only month within Q3 that can reasonably be considered part of the Fall season. As a result, the Q3 2026 listing could imply a September release, which would still technically align with a Fall launch, albeit at the earliest possible point in that window.
Marvel’s Wolverine is an upcoming action-adventure game developed by Insomniac Games and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment for the PlayStation 5.
