Anpanman (56.5 billion US Dollars), Disney Princess (46.3 billion US Dollars), the Marvel Cinematic Universe ($45.1 billion), and Jump Comics (Shōnen Jump) (40.0 billion US Dollars) round out the top ten. Anime and manga properties such as Dragon Ball (31.6 billion US Dollars), One Piece (23.8 billion US Dollars), Naruto (20.9 billion US Dollars), and Yu-Gi-Oh! (20.3 billion US Dollars) further demonstrate the global commercial reach of Japanese media.

Western franchises also maintain a strong presence.
